Who is it for?

  • Men and women aged 50+*

*A 20 -pack smoking history or less than a 20 -pack smoking history as well as a close family history of lung cancer (parent, sibling, child).

Why get checked?

  • LungCheck is for past or current heavy smokers, or who have a close family relative (parent, sibling, child) who has been diagnosed with lung cancer.
  • The chances of survival from lung cancer are extremely good if detected early as often the majority of people with the early stages of lung cancer have no apparent symptoms.

How does it work?

Easy to use at-home lung cancer screening test kit:

  • Online risk assessment questionnaire.
  • A simple blood collection kit (finger prick).
  • A unique blood test (EarlyCDT® - Lung) which allows more accurate targeting of the use of CT scanning and is seven times more likely to correctly diagnose lung cancer.
  • Once you have completed the test, you simply return it in the prepaid envelope to our laboratory.

My results

  • Results and a personalised screening programme within 2 weeks.
  • If you have an abnormal result from your LungCheck test, we will call you before sending your results letter. An abnormal result does not necessarily mean you have lung cancer.
  • If an abnormal test result is received, you will be referred for a CT scan if you meet the clinical criteria.
