The pandemic has driven digitalisation across healthcare services, including cancer care and lockdown saw Check4Cancer start a journey to create a digital skin cancer pathway. With funding from Innovate UK and in partnership with the University of Essex and Vivolution, the AI skin app and AI reporting model will support early skin cancer diagnosis for both private and NHS patients and expand our award-winning private skin cancer pathway both nationally and internationally to offer patients a digital solution to have their skin lesions checked. The app will be ready for pilot studies in the private sector in Q4 of this year.
Professor Gordon Wishart, founder, and chief medical officer at Check4Cancer writes for Healthcare Markets about how lockdown spurred on the development of digital pathways and AI-powered diagnostics. You can view the article here.
