Check4Cancer is thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr Haider Raza to its Clinical Advisory Board, effective July 1, 2025. A Visionary Leader in AI and Health

Dr Haider Raza is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Computer Science & Electronic Engineering at the University of Essex. With an impressive background in machine learning, computational intelligence, and predictive analytics, Dr Raza is highly regarded for his innovative approach to solving clinical and public health challenges.

Notably, Dr Raza was a leading contributor to the Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnerships program, a collaboration that was instrumental in the creation of Check4Cancer’s groundbreaking skin cancer AI detection model. His research portfolio further includes the development of AI-assisted decision-making systems for NHS Cancer Pathways in Essex, a project aimed at enhancing efficiency and precision in oncology care.

Beyond his technical achievements, Dr Raza is celebrated for his ability to bridge the gap between academic research and practical, real-world healthcare applications. His passion and expertise will strengthen Check4Cancer’s capacity to integrate AI technologies while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety and care outcomes.

Through this new role, Dr Raza will serve as a key advisor to both the Clinical Advisory Board and the data science team at Check4Cancer.
